Why Accredited Translation Matters

UAE government authorities and courts require that translated documents are certified by a Ministry of Justice accredited translator. A standard or commercial translation service cannot fulfil this requirement. All Startup Gate translations carry the official accreditation seal, ensuring acceptance across all UAE regulatory and judicial bodies.

Translation Services — FAQs

  • What is the difference between legal translation and standard translation?
Legal translation is carried out by a translator officially accredited by the UAE Ministry of Justice. The translated document carries the translator's official seal and signature, making it accepted by UAE government bodies and courts. A standard commercial translation does not carry this accreditation.
  • Do I need both translation and attestation for my document?
Many UAE government processes require documents that are both accurately translated into Arabic and officially attested. Startup Gate can coordinate both services, ensuring the translated document is also attested through the correct chain before submission.
  • How long does legal translation take?
Most standard documents are returned within 1–3 working days. Complex documents, multi-page contracts, or financial statements may take longer. An express service is available on request. [CLIENT INPUT: Add your standard and express turnaround times if comfortable sharing.]
  • Can you translate documents for use outside the UAE?
Our certified translations can be prepared for use with overseas authorities, embassies, or international institutions. We will advise on any additional requirements — such as apostille or notarisation — depending on the destination country.
